Default Menu help

Hi Guys, I have a SL65 and this is its third year of use up at my caravan, last year I got brave and tried to enter another channel (failed) but what I did was shunt the exisiting list along a bit, so if I tried to tune to 13e it was actually looking for 19.2e, how do I rectify this? can I do this by deleting the the insertion I made when trying to a enter a new sat?
I usually use it for 28.2e are there any changes I should know about when using this satellite as I haven't been there since Oct 07, will a simple re-scan pick up any changes.

Thanks in advance

To check whether your channel lists are up to date for any particular satellite, all you need to do is to comapare what you have to what Lyngsat lists.

The same goes for 13E and 19.2E. Get the transponder list for each one correct, delete all channels for those sats, and do a rescan, and all the channels will be on the correct satellite, albeit in a non- ideal order.

I'm not quite sure why you had to enter a new satellite, I would have though 13E would have already been in the list.

Hi Caravan72,

If your receiver has an autoscan option, run it, and it should update all the transponders and channels for you on the selected satellite. There have been quite a few since Oct 07.

Thanks Robbo and Yorks, I tried to add 42e for the free footie but made a mess of it, so an auto scan will do the job, If I remember lasy year I had to go through the whole list updating my favourites as some of the skin channels appeared on my list from the previous year.
