Hi guys,
Basically i've been using my eurovox back in the north east for the last 4 months without any problems. I've recently moved to Leeds (LS18), got my internet connection installed today by V****N. I disconnected the cable modem once i'd successfully installed the internet and plugged the box in. It said something like 'waiting for signal'. Nothing happened for an hour or so...thats when i started scourin these forums. I followed instructions about deleting all current data and doin a power scan and still havent had any luck. Has anyone got anymore help that might help? The box can't be faulty as it worked 4 days ago back in the north east. The link below shows the advice i have already tried.... techwatch.co.uk/forums/27671-euro-vox-with-virgin-media My thoughts are that it could be something to do with the signal i am being sent down my line? Or possibily because i'm trying the eurovox only hours after gettin the broadband connection set up? I'm using the eurovox max-V 2008 model. Any help would be hugely appreciated..... |

You are in a different area, so definitely would have to scan for channels. You need to factory reset and select the Symbol Rate again. Try both, then do a FULL powerscan.

Since you are a Virgin customer the signal you are getting should be a good one and yet it appears the box is not receiving one have you tried by plugging the box directly into the incoming feed to rule out any problems with splitters etc? since it was such a very new connection its possible that when you did the scan there were events taking place that interfered with the signal so if it were me I would try again (if you haven't already)
