Channels not working! - Techwatch: Satellite TV forums, FTA, Cable, Hardware, & Tech forums

Hi

Yet another newbie here so apologies if I'm asking the obvious. Oh, and I did try to search for info on this forum already but couldn't find anything.

I've been using a Eurovox Max for a few months now and all has been dandy. Last week I noticed one of the channels stopped working so I decided to do a powerscan (as this is what I was instructed to do when I first got the box) hoping it would come back working.

Since the scan, I have all the channels in my list but none seem to work - i.e there is no picture or sound. After a while a message pops up saying 'service unknown' (or something similar). The EPG seems to work fine...

Anyone have any ideas as to how I can get the channels working again?

Strange one this,sounds to me as if that power scan went wrong somewhere ...did you notice if the saving data message came up at the end of scan ?the only thing I can suggest is that you try that scan again ...

do a channel update not a powerscan might bring them up
