remote doesn't work

been given a chipped pace box but the two remotes that i have
already got dont work with this box.

i know the remotes work because i still have the other boxes and they
work fine one a sammy and the other a pace.

any ideas why it wont work on this recently given pace box.
i have to turn over channels manualy at the box.and i am unable
to put codes in for the movie chan cause remote dont work.

will there be anything in the engneers menu locking my remotes off.

you need to do a slight soldering modification on the remote to make it work .there are 3 types of black ones, 2 can be modded to work the sammys and pace, the other is a pain havent worked that out yet even put a third eye on it and no

Blue remotes work on sammys, about £3 on fleabay.

Must be the black or green one you need then.
Grey with green tip or black > 1000 , 1010 , 2000, 4000.
Blue > 4001 , 4010 , sammy 2100 , 2110.

cheers m8 but ive got a black one which does my other pace,
and i got a blue one which does the sammy and the pace.

but this pace ditv 2000 wont work on either.
its whacky when i power it up it scrolls through loads of numbers mega quick
then after a bit it comes on.

Might be a faulty I/R sensor on box. Numbers rolling is it updating probably because the little battery is flat or knackered and not holding info, you might lose net id also. i would leave it plugged in to charge, if it still does it fit new battery.

I too have this problem.

PACE 2000 with grey (green tip) remote was working fine until recently. Now, the stb only responds for a short period (say 8-15 remote key presses), and then stb does not recognise the remote signals (STB works okay); I then put the stb on standby (using the button on the box) for 5-10 seconds and remote is okay again (but only for limited use; 8-15 remote presses).

Remote has new batteries and does work on another PACE 2000. Would really appreciate help on fixing this problem.

P.S. Had this box 'reset' (frequency or id?) by someone recently - not sure if this is relevant
