hi i have just got the box of a friend and cant seem to pick up extra channels when i auto scan i have looked at wot version i have and it says ver 4.51e_E boot ver 7.0 9 july 2007 anyona any ideas please

Is your "emu " switched on
Latest firmware is 4.54

how do i know if my emu is switched on please help me i am new to this box still learning i cant seem to get sky premiere 1+hr

Are you only missing Sky PREM.+ if so note the frequency delete then manual scan on the frequency you deleted Sky PREM.will be at the end of your list.

how do u know if the emu is on and do i need to update the firmware and do u have a list of wot is available and if i dont have some channels how do i find them please

I assume you don't have a manual if you have Sky Sports forget about EMU. if not "Menu",don't click on any choices put in "1570"then at the bottom "Key Emu-ON"
If above is OK "Menu"--"Installation"-- "Auto Scan"--
When scan finishes exit
You should have All Sky Movies,Sport,Approx 250 channels
