Post Italina tv in uk (using fortec receiver and dish)

Hi

I am a beginner and I have a fortec receiver and 90 cm dish.
I live in south London and I would like to get hotbird.
But I don't have a ny signal.I have moved the dish
evrywhere but It seems to get only astra.
Do you need a special lnb ?
I can't figure out where the problem is.

Please help me

thanks

Which Astra are you currently getting?

Can you list a few of the channels you are curently getting and their frequencies.

Hotbird does not need a special LNB, you just have to position your dish correctly.

Hi,
Welcome to the Forum, we do need to have some idea of which satellite you are on as it is important to know how far to tell you to move the dish. There should be no problem with reveiving Hotbird in the UK, I was able to get it on an old Sly box and with the wee Sly dish, which I moved to Hotbird.

We should have you receiving Hotbird in a very short time.

Very best regards Wez
