Default Serious problem

Hi everyone,
I'm really having a very serious problem with my satellite system, particularly the positioner.

I have got a "EZ-2000 plus" positioner and stored all the positions for the availabe satellites to my zone in Cairo, Egypt, which include:

1. Nilesat.
2. Amos.
3. Sirus.
4. Eutelsat W3.
5. Eutelsat W1.
6. Hotbird.
7. Eutelsat W2.
8. Astra 1.
9. Astra 2.
10. Arabsat.
11. Euroasia sat.

One day I found that I have a "limit" stored in the positioner for its movement to the left (I found "Ll" worte on the display screen of the positioner) which made me restricted only until Astra 1 satellite, missing the last three satellites in the list. I didn't know whether someone messed with my positioner or its just an internal technical problem with the positioner itself. I tried to reset it but I didn't know how.. So all what I was able to do is to shift the limit on the movement of the positioner a little bit to the left so that I can watch the last three listed satellites.

This worked for sometime, but I found that problem again today and it's worse .. I am only watching one satellite "nilesat".

Would you please help me with that problem on how to totally reset the system of that positioner. Please, I am in an urgent need for your help

Hi,
We need to know what your receiver is, as all the motor controls are stored and work from the receiver. Please let is know what your receiver is and we should be able to help you then.

Very best regards Wez

My receiver is Humax 5100. I'm not professional as you of course to deal with the satellite system, but why do you think the receiver could be related to the problem with my positioner, they are not even connected to each other with one single wire. The only connection for the positioner is with the motor that is tied to the dish on the roof of the building.

So, are you saying that your dish is controlled completely separately from the receiver?

The positioner you mention according to the spec for it,has programmable east and west limits. The manual should tell you how to reprogramme them.
