Default Nagra3

Hi all,
Just been informed, on a German forum, that Nagra3 is to be called Merlin. Not that it will be of any help to us, till someone gets into it, but just for further reference.

Very best regards Wez

I feel that the more channels that migrate to N3 (Merlin) the more possibility of the chance of them being open at some stage, after all I am sure the receiver manufacturers that have EMU abilities will make sure this happens!

I tend to agree with you Southern, and that German forum I was at, they have started a section for Pr*m and Merlin already, so they must be thinking along the same lines as us.

Very best regards Wez

If n3 were to be hacked I would tend to think it would not be made public until all the old n2 had migrated or they could tweak it in some way to stuff up all the hard work. but hey what do i know

I have an idea that n2 going will flush something else out maybe irdeto off gamma or even seca
so in the long run could be a good thing

this is just a gut feeling have no knowledge

I think stick once said "fta dose not sell boxes"
