I'll be a TomTom dealer later on this month but I can also get AngelTrax, Delphi, and I'm also a Panavise dealer... If you guys need anything just let me know I'll see what I can do for you.

Cool .
Only thing is that As soon I'll find my PDA . I can have my own Tom Tom GPS unit .They sell softwere for PDA's . And I Like the Tom Tom . It looks eazy to use and the review of my rusian friend . He said that Tom Tom is the best , cause it warns you before the turn that you need to turn , not like the other softwere packages that tell you to turn when you are at the intersections already . |

I have been using Teletype GPS systems for a couple of years on my various PocketPC's. The current setup is a iPaq hx2750 model using a Bluetooth enabled GPS with about 18 hrs of power from the rechargable battery.
Use it many times a year on business trips. |

I used TomTom on a PocketPC for a while.. by far the best mapping software I've used.. the whole bluetooth + PocketPC proved to be too unreliable for me.. perhaps it was the GPS unit I had (Holux GR231)... but yeah, TomTom is the sharpest looking, easy to follow, and pretty accurate as far as I could tell.

Isn't bluetooth for short wireless distance ?
If that's the case then that's what probly is the problem . I have a old GSP Smartmedia card type antenna , and I lend it to my friend , and he has no problem at all , cause you stick the antenna out side on your roof and you can hold that PocketPC in your lap . He did try that media card gps with build in antenna , and he hates that cause he losses the gps satelites , Unless he keeps the PDA rigth up agianst the window . |

Yeah, short as in 10meters I believe.. when I had the bluetooth reciever on my dash, when it DID connect it wasn't a problem at all, the satellite connection was fine.. the problem was the communications between the pocketpc and the gps reciever.. which was only about a foot away from each other.
Like I said above, i'm just writting it off as a problem with the reciever I had.. but it definitely turned me off from bt/ppc solutions. |
