I am new to FTA. I have Mdiamaster 9800 S satellite decoder.

Can I use it to tune FTA channels, for example to Arabsat (26`East ) ?

If so, please the most important settings I should configure in order to tune one of the channels.

Hi,
Having a quick look through the manual, I can't see a reason why it couldn't be used for FTA channels.

You need to get a dish lined up to your chosen satellite, select it in the receiver, and perform a scan.

You may have to add a satellite if it is not listed and possibly transponders.

The full list of transponders for each satellite can be found on LyngSat - Lyngemark Satellite
