Who's got modded v+ box?

Hi

I've been looking at buying one for some time however I am interested to know much work is involved chipping one?

Is there a tut going around? I have a some information but not complete.


AT24C 512 chip removal? why do this and what does it achieve, also how difficult is this?

If you buy one make sure it has a paired card, and hasnt got a false boxkey, get the seller to guarantee it if you can, as thats the only way to get boxkey, your probably paying a lot of money for what could be just a door stop. you have to remove chip and blank it or fit new blank chip to set the net id. you need a dave rom image for card if you want HD channels working.

V+ boxes are not that hard...

Just make sure you have the correct box key and you will be safe.

Iv always used a image thats very old that iv used on all my boxs and still get hd channel on v+.
