5 Fta?
Just noticed on Lygsat they are listing Channel 5 (region 2) as free to air on the following
12.304 H Sr 27500 Fec 2/3 Sid 9342 Vpid 513 Apid 641 Tried it on sky box but comes up as "there is a technical problem with this channel" Can anyone get it on a none sky box?

Yes I can confirm, tried it out earlier on today, after a post by Analoguesat on satellitescouk forum.
It is tagged NDS but it is free at the moment. Channel name is "Five T2 Reg 2"

Just to clear this one up - the C5 fta channel was fta BUT still had the nds encryption flag set on it. This means that although any non sky box would allow it to be viewed fine any sky sluggiboxes wouldnt show it.......
The nds flag set but channel is fta is a nasty trick thats been used by various channels over the years - it gets reported on the forums, hundreds of folks get their hopes up but as they have sluggiboxes suddenly find they cant view the channel!. A couple of movie channels went like this a year or so back for a few days - there was uproar when word got out that folks with non sky boxes were getting something not available to sky boxes!
