O my other receiver on antenna setup ,hotbird is 1/2 and astra is 2/2 and works.
On the truman 1.3.76 that is now works like that. But when I loaded mx03 ou
truman 1.3.90,says no channel signal.On truman I changed and didn't work.On mx03
doesn't let me change ,is already setup on program and is fixed.I think I need the right firmware modified.I tried to download this morning on comagforum.zapto, but
there are no live links.

You're quite right about the Diseqc ports - confused thinking on my part after a difficult day of box-wrangling.

It's not so long ago that I was spoonfed as a newbie here (and will no doubt occasionally need the odd top-up and my chin wiping again - though I won't ask you to burp me ) so I take your point.

I did however take the time to do an awful lot of reading on this and other sites and experimented a fair bit on my own before asking for help. Some people don't seem to be prepared to do that and would rather multi-post and PM people in a frantic rush. Perhaps I'm less patient than a lot of you guys, but I generally do make an effort with people who I consider have displayed that they are at least trying to help themselves.

It's a shame that Maiden's satboard is having problems because on there are a number of really very good stickies that explain most aspects of this paching lark (and I commend the excellent stickies on here, also).

Don't get preoccupied about Hotbird 1/2 etc. Almost all firmwares you download will have a different list of satellites, though most lists will contain Astra 19.2E and Hotbird 13E. If you go to Installation>Satellite List on MX03 firmware, you will see the list and probably a tick beside a couple of the satellites - those are the active satellites. If there are three active, or example, then in Antenna Setup you will see on the top line something like "(1/3) Hotbird 13E". The second number is the total number of active satellites and the first number is the position of that satellite in the list, relative to the other active satellites. If Astra was listed above Hotbird and the remaining active satellite in that particular firmware, then it would say "(1/3) Astra 19.2E". But it has nothing to do with whether or not you will get a signal. The following, however, does:

In MX03 Antenna Setup, for a monoblock on a static dish you will have a list of the form:

Satellite (1/2) Hotbird 13E (just an example)
LNB Freq Universal(9750-10600) (has to be this way)
Transponder (1/99) 10719 V 27500 (just an example)
Diseqc 1.0 Port 1 (may need changing)
Diseqc 1.1 Disable (has to be this way)
22K Auto
0/12V Off
Toneburst Off
Polarity Auto

You may need to change the bit in red. For my monoblock, Astra is Port 2 and Hotbird is Port 1.

You should also go to System Setup>Other and check that LNB power is set to On.

Every time you load new firmware you will have to check these settings.

I hope that sorts out your problem. If you have downloaded firmware that is not patched for an SL65 then your remote control will not work, so I assume you have a patched version. If still having trouble, please tell us exactly where you got the MX03 firmware.

Not for me - still getting bounced back to login page whenever I try to view content. Perhaps emptying my browser cache will work.

Sometimes people have to cut one leg of the small diode DP5 on the circuit board near the tuner to solve lack of signal. If you feel up to it and are desperate to use MX03/04 firmware, you may want to try that. Just cut one leg with a pair of snippers and leave enough of each bit sticking out so that you can re-solder if necessary, though all the FW I've come across seems to be happy enough without it connected.
