hi i have a DVD-RW/CD Drive. it has just recently started to not recognise all CD's DVD's that i put into it. when i right click on the drive and go to properties the circle shows all blue and says 'type-CD Drive', 'File system-Unknown' '0 bytes' on all other sections. i have uninstalled the driver for the DVD RW and let windows pick it up after restart and install it, it still does not work but says 'Please insert a disk into drive F'! can anyone help me plz because i need 2 reboot the computer as well and there is no cd drive working.

Try another drive maybe?

This is a POSSIBLE fix for your problem. Go to Device Manager, right click on your optical drive, then click Properties. There will be some selectable tabs at the top, click on Volumes and then click Populate. This should fix your problem Kiz.
