Default Do I need a splitter on my Eurovox 2008

Hi Folks

Sorry for the newbie questions, I am buying a Eurovox 2008 box to coonect to my cable supplier. They will I guess take back their own box, So do I simply connect my new Eurovox or do I need a splitter somewhere?

Having read the forums Eurovox has no talkback feature so the cable op. won't know I'm there. And I thought a splitter was used if I wanted to send the signal to a separate TV and thats all.

Thanks for your replys

Gandolf

Dont really understand your question are you with virgin at the moment. If you have a basic tv package with them its best to run the euro off a splitter so the legit box can talk. Or just plug your legit box in 1 or 2 times a month for a few mins

If you are cancelling a service with virgin they might turn your feed off so your box will never work. Depends on the engineer if he can be arsed.

I have it from a very good source theres a lot of cabinet auditing coming up so non subscriber feeds may be cut off.

hi there,

can someone confirm whether just having the legit VM box on standby is enough? or do you need to actually switch it on now and then to avoid VM being "suspicious".

cheers
pablo

IMHO id say its best to use the box now n then or better still use it in another room.

I used a splitter and took a feed to the bedroom so the legit box is always on upstairs and the Eurovox is in the lounge.
