Hi there,

Could anyone please help me with a problem i have, which is that every time i change the channel it come's up with the banner about ''smartcard not inserted properly'' but still get all the channels. so it gets a bit annoying.

Any help would be much appreciated.

try a different image on the card this should resolve the problem

What type of card are you programming? need more info

Spikebaby means try a different image i.e NTL or C&W..

It could also be a key roll issue, when did the card go down?

The card i'm using is a fun card, the image i used was a ex c&w from bigmaq toolbar dated 24th may 07. when i made the exteep i did'nt put any public keys in so i believe this helps for a auto-update.

Try rewriting card , as you did before no public keys.

Hi, still having problems with the massage sorry, your smartcard isn't inserted properly. have tried the ird fowards and backwards using toxic7 for Ext. Eeprom.

any help would be very helpful.

In your other post you said you were TW, in this one you said you used ex cw files on card, thats the problem!

hi red, i used the ex c&w image for someone's box i done. but i'm using the tw image but still got the same problems.
