Hi.
Im new to the forum and after reading several posts, cant find the answer to the following!! Im moving into a new house where the previous occupant had Virgin media, Im wanting to subscribe to virgin phone and broadband, but cant afford the TV channels. Can I use a Eurovox to get access to the TV channels? would i need to subscribe to a TV package to get access via the eurovox? If I just attach a eurobox without subscription what are the chances of being detected and cut off? Which eurovox would you advise buying and where from? If I want "free" digital to other tv's how do i go about getting this? Im new to the eurovox and although Im quite good with technology Im a relative newby to cable. So as much advice and a simple guide to how to get started and remaining undetected would be much appreciated |

By far the safest and best place to buy your box from would be our very own lincsat who posts on here daily just look for the link to Lincsats nick_nacks shop (its in post 2) and click on that ...you do not need to subscribe to tv channels, your eurovox will get everything you need from the cable to your house then its just a matter of linking to other tv's via a splitter....as for getting detected well, the cable comp. cannot "see" the box as such but who knows what technology they have? its a chance we all take when we use a Eurovox,I dont personally know of anyone getting detected...I ease the slightly nagging doubt by subscribing to the lowest TV package ..its best to not even think about it..as I stated before its best to buy from lincsat because in him you have an iron clad guarantee, and all his boxes are pre-loaded with latest software, just a matter of plugging in and doing a scan as per instructions ...
