Default Opening Jpeg photo's

Hi there, possibly in the wrong thread, anyway here goes.
I got married 4 yrs ago and my brother inlaw took all the photo's for a bottle of malt (cheap at half the price) he then gave us a disk with all tha shots in Jpeg form which opened on our old computer ok for a while then wouldn't, the software was windows 95 word 98 now a dinasour (spelling)
Well we noe have a HP laptop with Vista and it won't open them either, any help would be appreciated as we have a nice printer now and she wants to print some shots.

Thanks in advance

I use adobe photo shop theres a free edition of it if you do a google search, that should work with your disc and your printer.

Right click on a picture file and select 'open with'. You should be able to open the pictures with lots of progs but as red says just download a copy of Photshop if you have difficulty.
