Hi Folk
Planning to get cable soon, in the hope of cancelling it and then running a eurovox off it. if and when the engineer comes round to take back the VM box they might disconnect my cable from the brown box. Am I suffed or is there a way for me to turn it on again |

Eurovox requires a LIVE connection, Are you keeping your Internet Subscription? If so is it an Cable/Dsl or ADSL line? ADSL means it runs from your telephone port on the wall, and Cable/dsl means it runs from the same Coax cable as your TV cable box.

I have ordered the basic tv package only, no broadband or phone line (as i have bt and am under contract for another 10 months with them.
Plan was to cancel within the 28days of installation and give them there box back, A friend has eurovox so i was planning to use his box as a test to see if the connection was still active. Any further advise. Some one mentioned to me that they could do something to the brown box on the wall itself and make the connection live. No idea if thats was possible. |

You might be ok if your staying with the basic tv. But if not you need to open the cab in the road to turn your connection back on. I can tell you how to do it but im not sure im i would be breaking rules with the forum. But first you need a key to open the cab. Best if you ask a virgin bloke in a van to do it for a drink.

See if they will do you a 2 for £20 deal with TV and Mobile (300mins and 300 texts), or even Broadband & Mobile
