Default Satellite Nokia Dbox2?

Hi,

I am an newbie to the satellite side of things as i have always been involved in cable Dbox2's.
My query is that i have been given a Dbox2 that i now believe to be a satellite box rather than cable. The reason i say this is because when i go into the setup menu (Commando 9 image) it is asking for satellite settings.....
My questions are these;

1) Can i get this box to work with a working sky feed?
2) If the above answer is yes, how do i do it?

All help will be greatfully appreciated

Cheers
Phil

Default Re: Satellite Nokia Dbox2?

long time ago..
but you can get there by setting the Cam_alpha in expert settings to Cable ..
then you get Cable scan..
Standart in images is the Cam_alpha by Satelitte
swich to Cable and itīll be work..
Notice: shutdown any emulators on a Scan..
then the Box find the Chanels faster and safer..

regards Oschy
