Patch what?
It would help a lot if you provided us with some details of your receiver and set up.
With most receivers, and cams, you can manually enter any new keys, but a lot of the packages are currently AU, Auto Updating, so there is no need to enter the keys.
Which satellites are you able to view?

I'm assuming this is the newer Technomate 5400 and not the Humax 5400z.
Always read what the new patch offers, in this case it was sexview and free x AU, which are porn channels on 13E.
I have read that Sexview is already down, but I don't know about free x.
If you want those channels load the new software, if not keep the software you currently have.
Always check for the latest TM softcam as these contain the latest keys, which can be loaded onto your technomate or you should be able to manually update any new keys using your remote control.
Check the instructions for your receiver.
Which satellites can you receive?
