Question AVR Flashtester?

Hi there, i've just bought a AVR Flashtester to get ird and bk but having problems it says Error occurred read timeout. data fetched: but there's no data has anybody this ''led'' simm and know whats wrong?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi jimbo,

i don't know how to send links, but go to chartmans website called fleet computers systems in traders tab of bigmaq toolbar it's in the led simm tab called RS232 flashtester plug and play. thanks

well have u read the txt thats in the software? have u done all it says? never used an rs232 lead so cant help u there, by any cahance or u using vista? is software compatibale?

Have you got it slotted in correctly, and the right port setting on pc, i havnt used one of these either, seen them advertised, like jimbo said are you using vista ?

Hi

anybody used one of these before an RS232 flashtester plug and play from chartman's Fleet computer systems. because i'm getting ''Error occurred read timeout, data fetched:'' ? also i'm using XP not vista.

The p&p simm works the same, you need power on.

what do you mean by power on, i have the power lead in and comes up with 88:88 on the front panel as i'm meant to do
