Hi everyone,

Has anyone had the problem with a pace 1000 box programmed with a auto update funcard.
When I put the card into the box it's starts up okay and takes around 10mins or so
But not all the channels start working, some radio channels and shopping channels are the first channels to start up. It takes 20 to 30 mins to get the other channels running which is okay but then after 2 hours the signal starts the freeze for a second or so and gets worse, to the point its not possible to watch any channels. If i leave the box on standby overnight I have no channels at all the next time I switch on. So i have to disconnect the power and leave it overnight and re power up from the mains and go through whole reboot procedure again then the same thing happens again.

looks like its overheating? or some of the capacitors are on the blink, tbh im not certain.

I had a feeling it might be the box, So I've been looking at the Eurovox how easy is it to programme one of these

So if its a tuner problem then the box is ready for the bin?

no, you can replace tuners on 1000 model..

might be able to get one fleabay, remove old tuner and slot in new one, i did change one many years ago, but cant remember, i think it clips off, have a look your tuner..
