TM Patched now what?

Thank you all for previous help.Finally managed to register on Alsat and download latest loader and patch.Haven't had chance yet to check what new channels are available.Any idea what sat i should be looking at for new channels etc ?What i have noticed before upgrade is a lot of channels saying "No audio/Video" although quality bar 75ish%,is this telling me nothing there to view or can't access due to sort of scramble?Thank you for any pointers.

If it's scrambled it usually says "Scramble channel", "No audio video" usually means that the programme parameters you have selected don't exist. Which transponder and satellite are you talking about?

Hi robbo 71.This message appears on majority of sats although there are plenty of channels to view with good quality on each sat.I haven't yet taken notes on transponder/sats as yet.When i first set up system i selected scan for each sat.Thought maybe these were blocked until i patched receiver as it was boxed for approx 18mths.As i have already said,loader/latest patch downloaded but do i also have to down load keys?Sorry,lots of questions but dont know if they are all related!Cheers robbo

Without specifics I can't point you in the right direction. I'm not sure what the patch for your receiver opens, but if it has been kept up to date, it should AU on Premiere (19.2E), TPS(Hotbird) and DigiTV on 1W at least.

Also if you have channels that have no audio video, the transponders they're on probably need to be re-scanned.

Many thanks robbo 71 for your response.I will take on board your advice and re-scan this w/end.
On software updates, Having downloaded Darkman loader and software,do i also have to then individually download "channels" & "keys" to finally activate updates?Sorry this is like trying to tell someone how to wire a plug without being there!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not too sure about the 1600, I don't think it was as well supported as the others, but the packages I mention, should be auto update on the keys. It is worth downloading the latest softcam anyway, as I think it may need the right slots setup for each package. Normally one key is for one package. The TPS package though has to update on a certain transponder, selecting France 4 on the channel list will do this. I t should say please wait, and then the picture should appear, for all TPS channels.

The patch should have the keys embedded into it. Using the scan feature should put back most if not all of the mising channels.

You can check if you have all the frequencies on the receiver database:

Hi all.Just read on this site that you need to "turn patch on" after downloading latest software.How do i do this.Thanks in anticipation(yet again)!

If you load the 'patch' and latest softcam; the patch would be turned on.

Otherwise, press Menu; at the bottom on the right hand side should say 'Options'; press OK; should give you list of various providers; select 'On' for the providers that you want though I think Polsat should be turned to 'Off' for the moment; that should do it.

I don't think that is what he means bigtee, I may be wrong, but there is a way of turning the whole patch on and off, you have to type some numbers in, I think 2007, but I'm, not at my receiver to check at the moment. NO IT IS 2004 YOU MUPPET.
