Hi C,
The LNB should be a universal one, and I am quite sure it is, but it should cover all the frequencies high and low. I concur with Jim, it might just be a dodgy LNB so I would say go for a new one and see what happens then. Good luck and I hope it works out for you.

Very best regards Wez

I checked with another dish and lnb but i still can't scan the channels. So I guess it is either the configuration or the tuner of the receiver. If it is the tuner please tell me what type of tuner I should look for.

I think that it should be a DVB S tuner, but wait till someone confirms it. I can't see it being the tuner, after all you are receiving the channels from the other sats. It has got to be something in your settings, in your dreambox. I don't have a 7020, but others have and they might better figure out what the matter is, but it is not the tuner, in my books.

Very best regards Wez

hi kerry..it's me again
I havew tried to reset factory details and connect my receiver directly to the lnb. Unfortunately no luck with this either. I still can't get channels from frequencies 11823+.
By the way when i do the reset I shouldn't lose all the camd and cam config?
When i did this I only had to enter the sat configuration and scan again. Is there any other way to reset my receiver? I just tried it from Expert Setup.
