Default Scientific Atlanta 8300dvd

Hi all, I'm very new to this but over the last few days I've done lots of research on cable box's ect ect . I've managed to stumple across a box with a matched card (Scientific Atlanta 8300dvb), I also have a Sammy 2100c which I know won't work. The SA 8300dvb has already been modded albeit it's not been used for a while. I guess the card and net id might need updating before it will work, however before committing to trying and wasting valuable time could anyone advise me if u think it's worth a try in a TW (Davic) area. Thanks for any advice.

Welcome to the forum. Have a good time here.

I am suprised you haven't had a reply. What is the problem with your 2100C?
