Kuro v2 beta release 28/03/08

New features are:

1.New Autosort function.. sorts all channels into favourite groups automatically after powerscan.

2. New Fast Install menu - the simplest receiver to set up in the world!

3. New Extended info window on bottom left of channel list screen, with time-progress bar. Go through what's on every channel in detail in a matter of seconds.

4. Child Lock (in Parental Lock) - lock the box completely and make those kids do their homework!

5. Tuner stability improvements

Ronster, is this image better that the kuro v2 which was released 31 oct 2007? i think thats the correct date.

dont know m8!

the file i downloaded seems to be corrupt so cant even open it yet
i wouldnt imagine there not to be much improvment probably only developed as the max Vs have now been cloned so it will brick them.
probaly wont be long before we see ANOTHER max out with a facelift to beat the cloners for a few more months lol.
i'd stick with the beta v2 until this is tried and tested mate

I have a non-corrupt version, I'll test it on a box in a little while. Assuming it's safe, it'll be on the download links tonight

Tried and tested. The power scan seems faster than before and the auto-sort works - well sort of, you get all the BBC1's together in the first fav etc. But that's considerably easier than before

Good but i'd rather have it manual setup. Took me a while to get rid of the crap channels i didn't need.

this image has been named wrongly it should be KURO 3, just to avoid any confusion....

totally agree its a bit confusing with the last kuro file but thats its official name for some reason!
