Default Two FTV Cards in 7020

Hi,

A big Thank you to everyone who posts here. I am new to dreamboxes and satellite, but I have managed to get my dreambox, installed, flashed and reading my FTV card nicely, just by reading info that is already here.

I am running the latest Gemini image, and CCcam 2.0.8, a dish pointing at 28E which works and one pointing at 19E which I can get FTA only but for which I have an FTV card for.

What I cannot managed however, is to get a second FTV card, from a different supplier to work. Does anyone have any ideas how to do this?

Thanks in advance everyone!

Chris

Cccam should read a Seca2 card which from what i can make out is what TNTsat uses. You can install various cams from the blue button in the addons section of Gemini Have you tried swapping the cards in the slots under Gemini

Try installing various cams theres bound to be one that will read both cards

I know gbox will read both cards although you may have to find the files and install them manually as i don't think they are in the download section on Gemini. If i remember correctly they are in the downloads on the Nabilosat images.

I'm not sure which model of Dreambox you are using but if its the 7000 or 7020 you can load various images onto a USB stick using flash wizzard. This allows you to try various images and to mess around with them without corrupting the main image that is in the flash

Superb!!!!!!

I can read the TNT Sat, but it has knocked out the Sat config for the 28E card, but this should be an easy fix.

Thank you so much for your help, I really appreciate it.

Hi,

This has been working fine until recently. I can no longer see anything when I use the official TNTSAT card. Does anybody have an idea why? The other official card is still working without any problems.

Thanks

When you point a web browser at your Dreambox from a PC, what does it show when you type this:

Code:
http://192.168.0.11:16001/entitlements

(replace 192.168.0.11 with your Dreambox IP address) ?

Does it show this for either slot:

card reader /dev/sci0
no or unknown card inserted

Hi,

I get the following output:

card reader /dev/sci0
handled 72(0) ecms and 0(0) emms
Viaccess card
Caid 500
Cardserial 11e90a
ident fff400 - 11e90a
ident 30b00 - 11e90a
valid from 29-3-2008 untill 28-3-2012

card reader /dev/sci1
handled 0(0) ecms and 0(0) emms
Nds card 1d889d4

Entitlement info
b765 23-06-2008
b766 23-06-2008
b772 23-06-2008
b773 23-06-2008
b860 23-06-2008
b8c0 23-06-2008
003 23-06-2008
00b 23-06-2008
001d 23-06-2008

So it seems both cards are being read, but the TNTSAT one is no descrambming.

Thanks
