Default How to manually add/edit frequencies/TPs

There have been a lot of people asking bout this over the last few weeks so here it is:

To manually set frequencies:

Go to User Installation Menu

1. Select channel to be amended
Press Green button - 'Channel Edit'
then Blue button - 'Modify'
2. Change frequency to the correct value
Press OK

3. To add missing frequencies
Press Green button - 'Channel Edit'
then Red button - 'Add'
4. Strictly in the given order:
Type in the Symbol Rate 6.887
Type in the frequency required
Select CH NUM and press the INFO button on your remote
and type in the new Channel Number
Press OK

(*I 5. Press Exit to return to User Installation screen *)
(*G Press Red button - 'Update Channels' (at this point your TV screen may *)
(*N go blank for bout 5/10 mins but don't panic this is normal). *)
(*O
(*R This will not affect your fav listings *)

5. Press Exit to return to User Installation screen
Highlight the frequency that has just been added/amended. Press OK (a tick mark will appear beside it) and press blue button (Manual). This will re-scan that frequency only.

This will not affect your fav listings but obviously if these channels are new then you will need to add them to their relevant group

if you have lost the channel completely then the only way would be to check a saved channel data file or one from your area.

As long as you have all transponders you will have all the channels that are broadcast, so you dont really need to know what freq individual channels are on for the process Lucky's describing.
but when you have the channel and if you want to know the freq press the info button.

Take a written note of all the transponder frequencies that you have presently, then save your current CDF either using voxer or dnupman. Then you clear data and do a powerscan, once completed check your installation screen against your written note for any new transponder frequencies. Take a note of any new ones then reload your own CDF, then manually add the new frequencies and manual scan them.

Thanks for the help guys. I'm only really bothered about Sky Prem, Sky Sports Extra and Bravo. Can anybody in the Manchester area tell me the frequencies for these?
