Default Re: Many British homes expected to lose their TV signal

So whats the big surprise about all this, there are areas of Wales who will lose out,the power step up wont eleviate the situation where I live,as I have said before.

With Analogue TV North East Wales(3rd largest conabation of people in Wales), only 5% of this huge population can get Welsh TV from the transmitter at Moel Y Parc, when analogue is switched off it be less than 5%. This situation as gone on since the 60s, no one cares, no one is bothered.
75% can only get Winter Hill, 20% from the Wreken transmitters,5% from Moel Y Parc.
Hundreds yes hundreds have been conned into subs to Sky being told you can only get Welsh TV via sat on a sub, lies of course, and this untruth was still being pedled by the Sky Reps in Wrexham last week.Freesat from Sky,not a word about that, reps said we only sell subscriptions, everyone knows Sky is sub only, end of chat to these two with a corsa a one meter dish was revolving on its roof.

Where the hell is Freesat, not a word, not a bleat.

As for DTT in North East Wales, from a Welsh transmitter, well after over 40 years of no one cares, they wont care now.

What a shambles,

Bob
