What box is it your ttryin to do ??ie what make and model, and to be honest mate youve probably heard this before but you shouldnt be using anything that requires TB to be connected,if your using it for the free stuff ie not ppv movies then they will still blacklist the mac of the box and then you wont be able to use any service that requires talkback,the boxes with TB on are being targeted on a more reguar basis now so it wont last long anyway.

hi all, sorry it has takin me so long to reply i have been on holiday, i dont want it for talkback its just now that the talkback piece has come off all the channels are missing, can i not just put a blob of solder on it even tho its leading into the silver box, i have attached a pic to show you, please can someone help me with this, cheers people.

That wouldnt cause you to lose all channels mate, that is purely to stop the talkback,its just an over zelous removal of the tb strip thats all lol.
When you say youve lost all channels did you pull the red jumper by any chance??
Does it just show 0 on the dispaly when you plug it in or nlt or similar??
Sounds like its dropped the network id hence no channels?
Have you lost even Free to air channels too??
By the look of that its a 4000 series pace box so to reset netid youll either need a funcard and do it that way or a scart to serial adapter and use libby with the relevent confgig files,

hi marc, i receive bbc 1, itv and channel 4 but not bbc 2, i cant get all the free to air channels, i checked the menu and the net id is still there so it has not been reset, what do you think it could be, cheers.

that is a signal issue, and i bet it only happened when stb updated to 3.6

hi spikebaby, i use to get all the channels not so long ago, last night was the first time i booted the box up in 6 weeks and it booted to ntl update so now i think it is at 3.6, i can get all the channels but all of them have blank screens saying this channel is unavalible try again later, what should i try to get it working again, cheers people.
