Virgin Media is planning to take action against subscribers who illegally download copyrighted material. Horrible situation! Although there are plenty of Internet Browsers that will enable anonymous web surfing. If worse comes to worse I believe that you can hide behind a proxy server. Something to test I reckon

The problem comes when someone that has cloned your modem downloads something illegal.
