Scheme to prevent illegal downloads planned by Virgin
Virgin Media is planning to take action against subscribers who illegally download copyrighted material. As part of an initiative that will be implemented during the next few months, Virgin will work with the British Phonographic Institute, together with television and movie studios in a voluntary scheme. Horrible situation! Although there are plenty of Internet Browsers that will enable anonymous web surfing. If worse comes to worse I believe that you can hide behind a proxy server. Something to test I reckon

The problem comes when someone that has cloned your modem downloads something illegal.
