Question HELP Downgrading to VM Basic Package

Hi, I've got my Euromax box up and running in the bedroom and have just asked VM to reduce down to basic tele/tv/internet package. As the bedroom had an additional V box when they swich over in next 24hrs will they know I have the E box connected. How do they know which box is which and do I need to keep the V box in the lounge always connected?

Thanks for any advice. They did mention about collecting the additional box

Default Re: HELP Downgrading to VM Basic Package

Firstly VM always talk about collecting their equipment back after a customer requests downgrades....they never follow through with it. If they do then so be it....just give one of the old boxes back. By the sounds of it you wont be needing it much

I have exactly the same setup as you mentioned and I have no problems. They cant tell if you have a dodge box installed or not. This is mainly because dodge boxes have the talkback feature either disabled or never there in the first place. You also dont need to keep the VM box plugged in downstairs....I haven't for the past 3 years (previously Telewest) and had no problems what so ever. Hope this clarifies the situation for you

All the best
