Hi, i amnew to this and would love some advice. i have a eurovox box and i live in ireland and it has stopped working.

the message is : updating signal please wait. (which it sometimes did but worked soon after)

and then it says : unknown signal (or something to that effect)

are my fooball watching days over?

Moved to cable area from satellite.

Sometimes this code updating can be a pain,sometimes its quick but others it just seems to go on forever,how long did you wait ? would suggest you do a start from beginning and do a power scan if its still not right ....you have nothing to lose ...

Firstly, check n make sure that your cable feed is still live by removing by connecting your co-ax cable directly to your tv - are you still receiving all the terrestrial channels?

If your cable is still live then reconnect the EV. Go Menu/Installation/User Installation and press the red button to Update Channels. The screen will go blank for a couple of minutes but this is perfectly normal. When this completes go to Sly Sports 1 and the updating code message will be there for anything up to 10 mins.

This should sort your prob but if not let me know and I can give you a CDF file for Dublin.

I was waiting until i geet home from work today to see if it had sorted itself out and if not i will have to try a different approach.

I have a Eurovox that has stopped working . in the front there are just 4 dashes where the channel no should be , any help please

Which model box have you got?

Try reflashing it with the firmware

What city in ireland are you in. Im in cork and have purchased loads of them for friends and none of them are working at the moment. Anyone know whats going on

N*L and CH*S have been messing with the signal. The software on the Eurovox is unable to unscramble the signal now and the encryption keys will need to be input manually each time they change (first change happened last Thurs/Fri). I don't know how often the keys will change but hopefully an update-fix will come soon for the Eurovox.

And I will PM you the keys for both providers
