I have a couple of DM500C to sell, I believe they are genuine but can't be 100% sure. I have tried the new Gemini Image and it works OK with Blue Button updates working, so it passes their "clone test".

I'm trying a few images to see which looks best and will ship them with a UK image installed.

Looking for £80 + £10 delivery per box

sorry mate, dont know much about these.

does it work through a satellite dish? What channels does it pick up?

Hi Damo,
The "C" at the end of the 500 tells you that they are cable boxes, so they are not Satellite boxes. The 500 for satellite has a "S" after the 500, so if you are looking for a 500 for satellite then you need to be sure it is a 500s.

@ lincsat do they have an intact hologram and are they fitted with screw type RF Philips tuners. Do you ship to Ireland and if so what is the cost, cheers.

They have a hologram sticker on the unit and another on the box. They don't have the F connector, they have the push in tuner connection.

Ireland P&P would be anywhere from £12.50 to £25 depending on the service used

Thanks for the info would have taken them off your hands but have had terrible problems with that type of tuner before. Will take one with a Philips F type tuner if you get any more in.

I've only seen the F type tuner on clones - Did dream actually make any 500's with the F type tuner.

I've got a Neutrino image running on one, makes it behave a lot like a D-Box2

If you can sell them for £90 defo clones. But clones or not if they work they work always been my argument.
They have made clones with both types, best thihng to look at are the serials.

What serials are genuine, is there a list anywhere - they pass the Gemini test and have the hologram on the box.

Best bet is to say that a box has broke and drop dreambox a email asking if its still under warranty. Then you'll know for sure
