Default does switching all power off @ nite

stop or cut down the threat of my box / card being zapped or does it make no difference at all ? as updates etc get sent when power is switched on ?

just a general question as i have been turning power off since got my chipped box and only had the card go wrong the once ???

and if u have an old box more chance of it getting stuck on pace.

it is a pace box yes but im a bit lost sorry

ive found on my travels that the more times u power off a pace box its more likely to get stuck on pace, do a search for "stuck on pace".

i got 2 stuck on pace they were fine till i switch them off,best to always leave on
