i cant see that as germany is well cabled country and most will watch either cable or the free to air channels on astra 1 as there is a good variety of channels

premiere only do well or not so well at the moment cause they have bundesliga rights

Yes, I agree with you there wod, the German market is very different to the Italian market.

I do however think that NC will stay in for the long run, and have at least a five-year plan, if not a tentative ten-year plan.

They will obviously 'sell' NDS to them, plus it blocks Vivendi from making a move up the European ladder.

The noose tightens...

When will Rupert be satisfied? It is not very good looking for us who use EMUs for Premier. I can see that NC are trying to take over the entire satellite system in Europe, as they have almost done in Oz and NZ. I am getting more and more hatred for NC and all they stand for, or should that be lie down for, as in bedding anyone who can progress their domination of the heavens?

That is ok for you to say rage, if you were stuck in this country you would not be using anything other than EMUs, my dial up speed is only 3.3 Kbps, what can you do with that, plus I cannot leave it on all the time, for obvious reasons.
