Default Service unknown --

Hi tech-sperts,

Quick question, if my eurovox box has stopped working due to a change in signal from my provider (NTL) will all other boxes fail to work?

ie, if i got a starbox instead will it work or something similar?

cheers

Am also N*L Dublin and my box is working fine.

N*L do occasionally change the encryption key on the signal but that won't make the box fail. Which Eurovox do you have? and as per your other thread, have you checked your cable feed?

As before Pike - are you receiving the terrestrial channels ok without the Eurovox.

If so do as the Bandit says and rescan, if not, then talk to N*L without mentioning the EV.

If the terrestrial channels ok but rescan doesn't work then try a manual scan:

How to manually add/edit frequencies/TPs

My N*L Dublin frequencies are 291.00, 299.00, 307.00, 315.00, 323.00, 339.00, 347.00, 355.00, 363.00, 371.00, 379.00, 393.00 and 403.00.
