Has anyone had trouble using a 250/255 in the TW area.

I've tried using a Mac from another UBR and it wont work full stop.

I managed to scan and find some using the sa-dtv-only.cm config.

I've programmed the mac in to both a 250 and 255 but for some reason the modems will connect for a cple of minutes then they will d/c and then reconnect.

I've tried everything I can think of (checked settings/freq/change psu in case that was faultly/changed macs) but it still does it.

The longest it stays on for is 30 mins.

Are the 250/255's not TW compatable or do I need to re-flash using a different firmware. currently i'm using 250hack_dump_telnet.bin .

Any help will be gratefully accepted as it's doing my head in.

Heh , dude i have same problem opposite way with SB4100

right, for a start your mac is conflikting(sorry about spelling) you need a mac from about 10miles away.. telepest have a strange setup. but this is the problem....

Yep, defo your macs conflicting,you gotta get good working macs !,

I had this problem with Vermin, until I got a reliable source for my macs.
