Ah Bob is just fine, think he likes to say what he thinks, well like myself, and lots of others here, he has no time for Sly and says so. It must be something to do with the Celtic blood we both have lol.

Very best regards Wez

Stevo,
Just realised that I have been spelling your name wrong all night. You are very welcome to join the club mate, I will even allow that toon army badge of yours along too, even though I am a Man Utd fan. Hope the Man Utd fan bit does not put you of joining the nutters club mate.

I have been to Newcastle once and thought it was a right hard place, the guy we stayed with said the the sows could not go about on their own because they would be raped, but I took that with the proverbial pinch of salt. I did like the that big shopping center there, is it the Epcot? That was quite some time ago though. I was even in the brewery, the guy I was with was buying their old compressors, used for pumping the beer round the place.

Very best regards Wez

Sh!t, sorry mate, I have got you confused with someone who has a toon badge, I am well red now, but it is very warm in here, that is my excuse and I am sticking to it. I stand corrected Stevo, you have my sympathy mate.

Very best regards Wez

I think that this PC circus has been forced upon us by so called 'Professionals' who's education seems to interfere with there own logical reasoning and judgement. Much of the time it is these people who convince us that we should either feel guilty, or offended - depending on our position - with regard to 'none pc remarks.'

We are living in a nanny state. If I were to watch a re-run of 'Love Thy Neighbour', 'Til death us do part', or listen to Dave Allen cracking jokes about the Irish, or Charlie Williams cracking jokes about ethnic minorities, I would laugh - just as I did then. Am I supposed to feel guilty?

As has been said many times in this thread - we should not lose the ability to laugh at ourselves, or let others - who think they know better - convince us that we are humiliating ourselves by doing so.

Not only the BBC, but our halfwit politicians have done their utmost to promote another culture and eradicate ours., you'd think they would be grateful for the comfortable expensive lifestyle the real british people give them, and tell us that brits will always come first, ...after all.. it is our country....praps many people have forgotten that.

Well put Yorkie, Charlie Williams was brilliant, first black comedian I saw,and that accent, agree the do gooders and chattering classes
are over the top. A lot may be well educated, but lack common sense.

I enjoy jokes about the Welsh, on S4C we have Welsh comics male and
Female cracking jokes on a Programme called Noson LLew, it has sub titles in English as well, I can tell you our house is in stitches of laughter for an hour, we enjoy to laugh at ourselves. I have never ever heard a complaint about this prog, its brilliant. Also its FTA all over Europe and free from Skys clutches.
