I hope someone has an answer to a problem I have with my connections for my TV,Eurovox,Virgin Box and Sony HDD DVD recorder.
I have connected them up using scart leads. I have connected the Virgin Box to the TV so I can watch the On Demand service,the recorder is also connected to the TV,but because I want to record films etc from my Eurovox I have connected this to LINE 3 on the recorder which works fine.However if I want to watch programmes on the Eurovox I have to turn on the recorder as well.Is there a way of making the connections so I can watch Eurovox programmes without having to turn on the recorder.I only have 2 scart connections on my TV. Thanks for any help Brian Last edited by burnleyfan; 02-04-08 at 07:52 PM. Reason: made a mistake |

Its a matter of pressing the AV button on your TV remote I would think... you should find that pressing it more than once might do the trick as you should at least have AV1 and AV2...you shouldnt have to turn on the recorder if your connections are correct....you might have to reverse the scart connections on your TV ....

swap the dvd at eurovox around, that way when you want to record from eurovox just turn on the dvd and find the AV source and watch it thru that. thats what i did with my sky
eg. dvd-->eurovox-->TV AV1 V box-->TV AV2 |
