Default Dreambox Help

Hi all,

This is my first post here and sorry if this sounds stupid. Anyway here it goes. I currently own a satellite system but to be honest everything is encrypted so I can only see free to air channels and multivision. Taquilla, Astra and all that stuff is not accessible. I have heard about the Dreambox but i always hear different versions. Could someone please tell me what 'satellites' one can get on a Dreambox? Do you really watch Sky and Taquilla and all that 'locked' stuff? Sorry if this sounds dumb. Thanks and hope to hear from you all

Basically the Dreambox on its own can only open the same stuff as say a patched Technomate TM1500. It will only open stuff when the keys are made public or when the various emus like CCcam have autoupdate

Now when you connect it to other linux based receivers over the internet thats another thing. The Dreambox is capable of cardsharing over the internet which means in theory if you can find someone who has the correct card you can open any package you can physically pick up with your dish

Beware though as the Dreambox takes a lot of time & effort to learn how to use it to its full potential Mine nearly went on ebay several times until i figured it all out

thanks nano mate. Apreciate you for finding time to answer . So in other words, if I can find someone who can share his card with me (for eg Sky Italia), I can watch it normally as if I have a Sky Italia Subscription? Thanks mate

Yes mate thats is correct

Just one word of warning though, don't go touting for a cardshare on this forum as it is strictly forbidden and could lead to a lifetime ban

If you look hard enough on the net i dare say you will find something
