V+ Symbol Rate

Hi,
I have a v+box where I can change the frequency to my area but i cant change the symbol rate. When I press the down arrow it skips the symbol rate and goes to save the data. If I press the up arrow it goes to Qam Type. Does anyone know why its skipping the symbol rate and how to change it.

the symbol rate is preset mate you cannot change this however will change if the net id is set to its specific area, so is the net id correct on your stb

What do I compare it to check if the net id is correct for my area. I can find the netid in the engineers menu but how would I know if that is for my area. Im at Newport Wales.

Cant find net for newport, have you got anyone nearbye who will let you look in eng menu.

Is your box working ? if it is its right, if it needs to be set you need to lift a chip and blank or replace with a new one, theres a tut in downloads, if your in pure ntl it should then set itself, if your ex cw or tw you have to set it with an ATMega card and net id files.
The frequency can be set in eng menu.
