Has anybody got a CDF file for a 7000HD box who lives in an EXC&W area in Merseyside, Liverpool or cheshire? I'm updating my maa's box and the moving of channels after re-scanning is proving really annoying. Any assistance please please please?

new to this, so sorry if i come across nooby.

i am looking for a cdf for the wolverhampton area for my eurovox 1100usb (symbol rate is 6952) - can't find one anywhere, and the ones that i have found have been old and have had numerous scrambled channels, so they're useless to me... if anyone could link me to a new-ish one or make me a quick one then i will be hugely grateful.

thanks in advance

Hello,

I have a Eurovox EX1000SL, how I do put a CDF file in the Eurovox box, because when I run the ufl program, I see the upload the download button and it's confusing, and I've pressed the upload button as I thought that the channels would go in the box and or the channels would be viewed on the pc when for editing, which causes the error message and having the computer to close the program and then having to open the ufl program again.

I didtry to put the CDF file in the box but I'm not sure if I did, as I pressed the download button always and the upload less and I don't know what I'm doing when I press those button.

Do I need a bin file to put the channels in or the cdf file?

How can I tell it's a clone or not?

Can anyone please, please, please help me on this, How do I put a cdf file and a bin file (if I need it) on the eurovox box.

Sorry for the long question, but I only want the answer.

Thanks.

I made a guide on this a while back on how to flash a Eurovox:
How to flash a Eurovox and flash channel date files(CDF's) WITH PICS

Also see here to see if your receiver is a clone or not:
Identifying a Eurovox EX1000 SL clone (pic)

If you live in a "nagra 3" area, your screwed to put it simply

Hello,

Thanks for the info. Do I need to open the box itself to see if there's a white squared chip (the clone one) or a black smaller chip (the genuine one) as I looked at the image brief to which you posted.

I'm using the UFL EX1000SL v2.1 software that's provides the latest firmware something TB DX_24_02_2009.

So I don't have to use the Upload button at all, I only have to use the Download button to have the CDF file written to the box? I''ve pressed it and there's a message box that comes up "Channel data upload" and "Version 2 Dectected" and there's a start button so I press it and it says "key sending" that's it the other message box went.

But on the EX1000SL box that I have with me know to which is connected to the PC, the LED light is on Red and the box is either on stand-by or off.

I remember, and another thing. When I pressed 1968 twice, another menu called "NagraVision" comes with the Keys or code keys with that are with each different providers NTL, TW, C & W and NoName.

I entered the code for NTL, which I think is for the area where I live (in East London, Forest Gate), and then I entered the other code for telewest after scanning the box for channels so to unlock them, seeing that they all say Channel Scrambled apart from the free channels including the pay per view channels to which i'm suprised as I was watching WWE Wrestlemania Live a few days ago or a week.
