Thanks for the fast response smoggy.

I now understand wot went wronge with the channel update and that following your instructions will prevent the problem in future.

But wots the precedure to re apply my saved CDF file so that I can get back to my original starting point with all my favourites as they were ? This CDF file was saved before I did the firmware flash. I started to manually remove the unwanted channels from my favourites but this is long winded so it would be easier to re apply the CDF file

Connect your box to pc via null modem cable
run the UFL (flash loader) and click the browse button, this opens an explorer window. browse to your channel data file and click on it then press the save tab, this will load your file to the UFL. Then click the download tab (the bottom one below the Channel Data line) and this will load it back to your box.

Hello

Attached is the latest Channel Files for Northwest UK.

Tested in Runcorn/Warrington/Liverpool/Manchester

I have 2 files attached.

1 Is clean - No Adult channels used for ie child friendly box's for those not wanting their kids to see adult channels

the other one is all channels.

TV-Clean & TV-NoneClean

to install this, Download the latest toolbar from these forums and download ie Eurovox Fix 28th April. browse your computer to the file i've attached. Then click DOWNLOAD (not upload) below the file browse box.

If you get channel issues ie frozen or no picture do this

Press Menu
Installation
Fast Install
Enter Pin
Press RED
Set FAV Sort to OFF
Press EXIT on your remote NOT OK button.
Press the RED buton to update channels frequency.

BELFAST .CDF channel list file

I sorted these in following order...

1. BBC1, BBC2,ITV,C4,C5
2. Top entertainment (Virgin1, E4, etc)
3. SKY Movie channels
4. Sport Channels (Inc SKY, Eurosport, Setanta etc)
5. Music
6. Factual/Entertainment (Sci - Fi, Discovery, UKTV etc)
7. Kids channels
8. Adult
