I'm new to cable boxes and having problems after the latest change in codes, so looking for some help here.

I'm in the Glasgow area, on a previously N*L line, with an Eurovox EX1000 SL box. I'm using the UFL EX1000 SL v1.0 modded by DarX firmware update software along with the CDF file in post #466 of this thread. I have followed the relevant instructions in the Eurovox forum;

  1. Take power cord out of the Eurovox.
  2. Connect your Eurovox to your Computer using 'Null Modem' Cable.
  3. Plug the power cord back into the Eurovox and put it into standby.
  4. Extract the firmware folder.
  5. Open the .exe file within the extracteed folder.
  6. Click the Upload button to save your current channel data.
  7. Select a place to store your channel data and click Save.
  8. Once this process is complete, you should hit the download button in the center of the window - This process should take around 150 seconds (2-3 minutes)
  9. After this is complete, click the Download button on the channel data section.
  10. This will quickly put all of your channels back onto the box.
  11. Now you should pull the power cord from the box.
  12. Disconnect your computer from the Eurovox
  13. Reconnect the Power Cord into the Eurovox.
  14. Press the Power button on the remote or box itself.
I've left the T.V. on Sky Sports 1 for over an hour, though all i'm getting is the "Please wait, code being updated" message.

Is there anything i'm doing wrong? is the firmware update software out-of-date? should I re-scan the channels? is the CDF file bogus? Should I manually update something?

All help appreciated.

Hi Guys,

Looks like the old bigmaq has changed and on the new chatterbox toolbar - no key, any ideas.

Many thanks.

Update: After a lot of reading through the forums I decided to download the bigmaq toolbar, opened up keymaster and intered the "Pure" Key using instructions provided. This seemed to work for about half an hour, until I re-scanned for channels and used the channel manager to skip some, now i'm back where I started...

Anyone else having problems? or have I screwed this up?

Clean version optional
Includes SKY channels and Watch channels
Similar organisation to Virgin
Includes all working favourites
Includes print-out channel list.

enjoy my friends
Great setup with these, Clean version seems to be 0bytes though and don't work for me.

Thanks for your time in doing the files
