Default What size dish?

what size dish will i need? will be motorised looking at me range i should be able to get somewhere around 45 west to 45 east

It depends what satellites you want to receive, you won't be able to get all of them.

80cm to 1m is what most people go for.

as many as poss but im assuming 60 cm is not good.

HI mate, I would reckon that for most satellites a 1Mrt dish would suffice. There are not that many satellites beyond 30W that have much on them, not for me anyway. Good luck with your project and keep us informed.

thing is 1mtr is not amusing the wife may look a bit ugly trying to see if 80 cm will do

just on dish poiter and it gives the size of dish reqd in the columns but it says its in beta any ideas what this means

You just scroll down a bit and click on manage attachments. I think you have to click on Advanced when you reply to post.
