After finally getting my boxes up and running (Pace 4000) this week, I've heard it thru the grapevine that Telewest have cut the non subscribers cable service to some parts of Croydon. No channels whatsoever coming thru... cant even change channel on remote, just keeps flicking back to '0' and a blank screen. Anyone else experience this? and more to the point how can I get around it???? Any help/advice appreciated as always!

If Virgin had any sense whatsoever they would disconnect all un-subscribed lines. It does not make good business to leave them running.

Well after finally getting my head round the pace boxes am seriously considering going down the satelite route myself, i need to do a bit of research cos am still unsure of how it all works. I'm kinda swinging towards the dreambox but need to work out whether i can get it with my cable feed or if i need a dish, 'spose i'd better get reading again! But i dont get it why are you paying for cable if your watching satelite via a dish, or am i missing the bleeding obvious??!
