Default New Arrival from Canada

Hello and greetings !

I have recently moved to the UK with my British wife & children and am 'having fun' getting set up properly.

We have the regular s1y subscription package (everything but movies and sports) + net and phone. When the dish was installed I had a quad LNB installed so I could plug my PC in as well. I was given an old analogue Dish that I have since installed a side by side LNB on as well that I have connected to my PC along with the S1y dish using a standard disq switch.

The PC is an antique P4 2.4 800FSB celeron with 500MB Ram running XP Pro SP3, with original MyTheatre 3.38 & DVBDream.

I previously enjoyed testing Sat's in Canada however I am green here on a number of matters. Right now half of the twin is pointed at 13' Hotbird) and the Sky Dish is, of course pointed at 28.5 / 28.2.

I would love it if anyone could give me suggestions which sat's are best, when Free Sat is online, and which plug-ins' are recommended for which programs. We only speak English, "we" would prefer more children's programming (Boomerang/Disney/Nickelodeon etc) though movies and grown up TV is always nice as well.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions/idea's.

PS On another front, you seem to make the same income but everything is twice as expensive. Is it like that everywhere in England?

Hi juustme. If you are using dvbdream then the best plugin is vplug this opens up quite a lot of stuff at the moment on 13E 19E and 1W.
