Unhappy Help Needed For The BOX

Can anyone help me get to emu menu on the Box [menu 1570] doesnt work like it does on my old starview box. thanx

1570 is correct code for "The Box"

If you have just received it you need to put the firmware on it as it MAY have the FTA only on it.

Hi GJ

You've three options

1) Use a m8s pc that has as RS232 socket

2) Use a USB to Serial adapter - works for some, doesn't work for others

3) Buy a PCI card for Serial Port

Personally the quickest and easiest options are 1 and 3 as 2 is very hit and miss.

number two was hit and miss for me. I had to go the usb option though as I have a laptop. It worked in the end for me. I can imagine getting a pci card would be the easiest way to work things.
